The XSEED System is an integrated curriculum, teacher training, and assessment program for K-8 school and out-of-school education. XSEED replaces a knowledge-transmission or "teaching as telling" approach with an inquiry-based, constructivist approach that uses hands-on activities, followed by reflection and feedback.

Labs

Dance & Music
Dance and Western Music are some of the many high school clubs available at Gitanjali. Children are exposed to varied kinds of music, and dance forms, and encouraged to formulate pieces of music and choreograph steps on their own.

Gitanjali Bee on December 9, 2023
In order to help student to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude, the Gitanjali Knowledge Bee Competition is being organized by Gitanjali International School for the students of Grades I to VIII. This will give students a platform to adopt new vocabulary words and to update themselves with the latest happenings around them
Guru Purab Celebrations on 23 November, 2023
To commemorate the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Gitanjali International School, Ludhiana celebrated Gurupurab in the school campus with great enthusiasm. A soulful Special Assembly was organised where the students of different grades presented prayers, speeches about the teachings and legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. They also showcased acts fostering the spirit of unity followed by Shabad Gayan.
Field Trip to Food Mart on November 22, 2023
In order to help the students gain real world experience and to make them aware about the different food items, the tiny tots of GIS were taken to a Field Trip to a Food Mart at MBD Mall. The students were delighted to see the different food items available in the market. They were shown different sections of the supermarket. Some students even shared their shopping experience which they had with their parents in the same supermarket.
Diwali Celebrations on November 12, 2023
To mark the eradication of dark shadows, negativity and doubts from our lives, Gitanjali International School, Ludhiana celebrated Diwali with much gaiety and fervor. The students were involved in a number of activities which not just showcased the artistic prowess of the young artists but also enforces the importance of cultural celebrations and creative expression in the school community. A Candle and Diya making competition was also organized in the school which provided an opportunity to the students to showcase their talent and creativity.
Air Force Day (Special Assembly by Eco club) on October 8, 2023

Nur-I: Nature walk on October 7, 2023
The tiny tots of Grades Nursery to 1 will be taken to a nature walk to foster a natural sense of wonderment amongst children through the use of hands-on exploration to discover the natural world.
World Animal Day on October 4, 2023
Nur-I: Story telling Activity II-VIII: Creative writing competition (Special Assembly by Rhythmic Tappers on Dussehra) The students of different grades will be involved in various activities and competitions to mark the significance of the international day of action for animal rights and welfare
Teacher’s Day celebration on September 5, 2023
Teacher's day was celebrated in the campus with much gaiety and merry where the students planned various spectacles for the day and showcased many scintillating performances, on some peppy numbers which highlighted the heart warming relationship between a teacher and a student.
Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on August 31, 2023
Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in the school with fervour and zest with the inception of Lord Ganesha’s idol in the school premises where all the students were involved in worshipping the deity.
